Until This…

This was brought to My attention by My Girl Friend a little while back. I noticed Her saying frequently “Once I have this… or that… I will then Do this…” I asked Her “When that is all done, then what?” And “Will it ever Be done?” She responded “No”.

I got thinking that if We did all of what We Desire to Do (which is virtually impossible, but hypothetically) then what? Where is the motivation after all is done? So then it dawned on Me! It was a form of excuse. Excuses are weird really, they provide others with a reason for not wishing to Do some thing, but the reason usually has a hidden back bone to it that is based on falseness. For example, some one may offer Me a opportunity to join some thing they are currently endeavoring in. I may say I Am already involved in some thing, and can not afford to Do some thing else at the moment. When really I can always find a way to get funds to Do any thing, but really in Essence I Chose not to.

The other definitions for excuses perplex Me a bit.

1.
a. To explain (a fault or an offense) in the hope of being forgiven or understood: He arrived late and excused his tardiness in a flimsy manner.
b. To apologize for (oneself) for an act that could cause offense: She excused herself for being late.
2.
a. To grant pardon to; forgive: We quickly excused the latecomer.
b. To make allowance for; overlook: Readers must excuse the author’s youth and inexperience. See Synonyms at forgive.
3. To serve as justification for: Brilliance does not excuse bad manners.
4. To free, as from an obligation or duty; exempt: In my state, physicians and lawyers are excused from jury duty.
5. To give permission to leave; release: The child ate quickly and asked to be excused.

Which one is it? I found that the English language is getting more and more complicated. And I have also noticed that most definitions have negative contexts (But really it is what You make of them really 🙂 ).

The point I Am getting is that You will always have some thing to Do, why put them off until tomorrow, when You can Do them Now!

Enjoy!

Responsibility=Freedom

This was brought to My attention the other day. And it just dawned on Me as True right now! If We all were Responsible for every thing We did, then there would Be no requirement for government, police, military… You get the picture.

This concept is Easy to grasp, when You realize most problems/issues stem from lack of Responsibility.

For example, when You point blame on some one, or some thing You Chose to Do. Really Think about that, You Have a Choice in every thing You Do, say, and Think. No one forces You to Do, say, and Think any thing. You are in control, but then You will Think of a million scenarios to contradict those statements. Those are excuses, and those excuses stem from the avoidance of Responsibility.

Now You know why We Have government, We lack Responsibility, To Self-Govern is a Choice many of Us avoid. You may say “What about the People that Choose to cause chaos?”, well I can almost guarantee they were possibly raised to be very dependent on others to Do things for them, and point blame. I Am not blaming any Parents for raising their Children to Be non-Responsible(To Be Honest You Can not Teach that, You need to Discover it Your Self), because they were raised that way as well, and so on… I was that way too in the past, always blaming stuff outside of Me for any thing that went on in My Life. But for a while now, I have Chosen to Be fully Responsible for all of My actions, speaking, and Thoughts. And I can tell You with Confidence that My Life is much Better for Doing so. At first it took some time getting use to the whole concept, but after I made it a habit, and routine, it is common place with Me.

It’s funny, I scraped My truck bumper on the pillar in Our parkade on Thanksgiving day, I was bummed out about it at first, but I did not blame any thing or any one else for My mishap. I Thought about the whole incident in My Mind, and how I could Have blamed the Person who parks beside Me for possibly parking too close to My stall, causing Me to turn wider than usual, or I could have blamed the pillar for being in a stupid spot! There are a million excuses I could Think of, but what Good does it Do. It still happened, and I was the one Responsible for it.Truly, if I had not been out operating My truck, then it would have never happened. Making Me fully Responsible for the incident. I Am completely fine with it.

It is Calming to realize that You are in control of Your Experiences. When You start Being Responsible for every thing in Your Life, then You are Truly Free!

That is Freedom!

Enjoy!
